WisdomTree Plans To Close 10 ETFs In March - High-Yield Dividend Investing Commentary Feb. 1, 2010
WisdomTree, the ETF issuer with about $6 billion in assets under management, announced plans to close 10 ETFs in order to make room for new products that will be more appealing to investors. The 10 NYSE-listed ETFs, which account for about three percent of WisdomTree's assets, will stop trading on March 24th. Investors who do not sell their shares prior to that date will have their shares automatically redeemed on March 29th. The 10 ETFs are the following:
Low trading volume may be the culprit as only three of the ETFs average more than 10,000 shares traded per day with DRF leading the way at about 14,650 shares in average daily volume. |
